| Course Title: | Digital Storytelling: Hands-on the Camera |
| Course Description: | Designed for participants in the morning session of Digital Storytelling who wish to learn more about the technology of digital production, this afternoon session, led by Malory Graham from Reel Grrls, teaches the basic media production techniques of camera handling, audio/lighting production, and basic editing. The hands-on instruction and practice with camera and editing will result in a team-produced PSA. Attendance is limited to 20 for this portion of the training. | Intended Audience: | This training is primarily intended for individuals working in tobacco prevention and control, either as contractors of the Washington State Department of Health Tobacco Prevention and Control Program, or key stakeholders and partners, including although not necessarily limited to, school and community partner organizations, prevention/intervention specialists, teachers, and youth advisors who are concerned with tobacco prevention and control and who intend to incorporate digital production into their prevention and advocacy efforts. |
